A writer and editor and with nearly 20 years’ multi-disciplinary experience, I work primarily with market-leading consumer titles, book publishers, creative agencies and independent brands. My skill set spans communications and content strategy, conceptual copywriting, editorial direction, long-form journalism and storytelling in any form.

I enjoy collaborating closely with art directors, designers, photographers and stylists to produce projects with exceptional aesthetic appeal, and have been contributing to ELLE Decoration for 15 years. Previous in-house roles have included homes director at ELLE Decoration, and editor of ELLE Decoration Country. I’ve also worked as an editor at Monocle’s creative agency, Winkreative, and an editorial director at global advertising agency AMV BBDO.

My primary areas of expertise and interest are design, architecture, interiors, craftsmanship, nature, travel and food. I have a special interest in rural and coastal life, and have recently written a book on forest architecture for Phaidon.
